Where your data is sentYour rights to your data
If you have an account on this website or have written comments, you can request an export file of your personal data, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request the deletion of any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data that we are required to keep for administrative, legal or security reasons.
How long we store your data
When you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users who register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (the username cannot be changed). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the password reset email.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to verify that you are using it. The Gravatar service's privacy policy can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment has been approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible in the context of your comment.
